Find Yourself in a Character:

A Book Review Video Series

Writing doesn’t just draw a picture, bring you into a fantasyland or give you insight into a living part of history; it gives you the gift of relatability. Do you see yourself in that character’s eyes? Can you relate to his or her plight, challenges, emotions, successes? Does the plot, environment or situation resonate with something in your life?

That’s the power of a good—no, great—character. In Find Yourself in a Character, I take you on my own journey of relatability as I chose a new book each week and unveil how I connected to it on a personal level. Perhaps in my discovery, you will witness your own.

I’ll be exploring all kinds of book genres; no one-note reviews here! Feel free to drop me a line with any of your faves, and we’ll see if it makes it to a future episode!
