My oh my, was this book particularly steamy, hot, and erotic! Not for the meek, sexually reserved or quaker-like readers out there. It is as naughty as it can possibly be, and I loved every explicit second of it!. But it wasn’t nasty or dirty—it was sex positive, and sent several messages:
Women deserve to be free to express themselves sexually just like men do, and plus-sized women are worthy of love, romance, and great sex!
A porn star is trying to make a name for herself in traditional movies, but is forced to hide her past in order to do so—but someone knows her secret and wants to know her sexy alter ego behind the scenes. Is it possible for her to stay true to herself, explore new options, AND find love along the way?
There were so many colorful characters that kept me laughing out loud. The sass of the porn personnel made for such an amusing, yet eye-opening look into a world that we may shun because of stereotypes and judgment. I, for one, was happy to look past any potential moral questioning and simply enjoy the characters as the people they were, the relationships they made, their journeys, and ultimately, their path forward with authenticity.
I was on an emotional rollercoaster with the twists and turns, and I just couldn’t put this one down.
I’m already a big fan of one of the authors (both of them now!) and I really love how she is normalizing plus-size romance and representing us curvy girls out there. It’s refreshing as all hell, but more than that, the actual characters are intriguing and the plot is catchy and well-developed. An amazing read from every angle that will melt your candy cane 😉
