"Feeling gratitude and not expressing it is like wrapping a present and not giving it.” ~William Arthur Ward
Happy Thanksgiving friends! What are you grateful for? TRULY?
So often our thoughts travel to what we wish for, or our struggles and challenges, that sometimes we forget to be grateful for all that we have. I want this job, I want more money, I want children, I want a boy(girl)friend, I want to be thinner, I want a more active social life…and while we deserve all that we want in our lives, there’s an energetic law that suggests the more we express gratitude, the more powerfully and quickly our dreams can come true. So take some time to think about what you are grateful in this life—things you might take for granted that others would give their life for…literally.
Hate your job? Remember many in this world do not have a job at all and are struggling.
Wish you had enough money to pay all the bills? Remember many in this world do not even have basic food, clothing or shelter.
Rolling your eyes over having to eat dinner with crazy aunts and in-laws? Remember many in this world are abused, alone or have no support systems whatsoever.
Think you’re too fat or too thin, or wanting plastic surgery for the perfect body? Remember many in this world are sick with debilitating mental and physical illnesses and/or facing death and would give anything for your good health.
Hate being stuck in the house for a weekend, with nothing to do except play on social media? Remember many in this world do not have access to a computer, to the education or to the resources available to fight back against their oppression.
This Thanksgiving, bless yourself, your life, your loved ones, your health and your opportunities. This year, I am grateful for my healthy and happy children, my beautiful home, my family and friends and for the opportunity to live my dreams. I am grateful for kind supporters such as yourselves; thank you for letting me share my thoughts with you. May you be blessed this Thanksgiving and always with all that your heart desires.
Have a wonderful Thanksgiving :)
Love,
Jenny xo
